Eagle and Leopard - historical brocade with this motif is suitable for sewing period costumes. Replica of the original 14th century brocade from the Italian region of Sicily. These designs were in great demand in Europe, especially because these brocades had metallic threads woven into them. Italy was a silk-weaving power in Europe in the 14th century and was able to produce silk of extraordinary technical perfection.
