Brocade of Archduchess Elizabeth - the inspiration for weaving this brocade was the portrait of Archduchess Elizabeth, the Queen of France, specifically her dress. The painting was created in the 16th century during the Renaissance period by the painter Jooris van der Straaten, precisely in the year 1573.
