Croatian scarves - historical richness of the Croatian landscape. They have immense value for their owners - both folk and historical. In some areas, the originals were destroyed due to war, but there are still places where the original scarves have been preserved. Their age is estimated to be 100 years.
Scarves began to be utilized, presumably, at the beginning of the 20th century. They were, and still are, most prevalent in many Croatian regions - eastern Slavonia, Srem, Cvelferia. This particular type can also be found in Serbia, in the region of Bačka - the pattern was copied from the original scarves, and Serbs made large scarves on traditional weaving looms.
